Translation of ‎درود شریف نعتیہ منظوم

Mentioned by Ḥaḍrat Mawlāna Ādam Ṣāḥib رَحِمَهُ الله

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the leader of mankind,

A source of refuge in times of distress.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one, who, in the heat of Tomorrow,

Will give drink to every thirsty soul from the purest cup.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one, who, specially granted hope of generosity, to all people who came to him.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one who comforts all mankind,

the one who replaces the loneliness of the grave with companionship.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the soul of the leader of all messengers,

we follow his footsteps without hesitation.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one of continuous blessings,

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the bearer of a noble law,

who differentiated between the good and the evil.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the noble one whose nation,

will enter Paradise on the Day of Resurrection without doubt.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one, were it not for him,

The universe would have not come into being

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one, by whose infallibility,

Allah protects those who love him from the whisperer (Shaitan)

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one,

whomsoever seeks his refuge, the effect of shaytan can never reach them.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one, who by the gleam of his sword,

Totally eliminated the vision of the sun worshipper.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one of such noble rank,

Through which people distinguished the different levels of people

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one, who planted the trees of generosity in the orchards of the nations for us today

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one, whose melody of generosity,

Removes poverty from the homes of the poor.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon his pure family,

And upon his companions, along with Hamza and Abbas ؓ.

Send salutations, Oh Lord, upon the one, through who, Uwais’s body and heart were purified from all impurities
